How big is the studio (sqm)?
169 SQM!

Are all shooting areas included in my booking or just one?
YES! All sets, paper roll wall and the cyclorama wall are included in your booking.

How big is the cyclorama wall?
The wall height of 3.5m, and the floor space of 4.2m x 4.2m

Can the furniture be moved?
Yes! You are welcome to move furniture and props around, to bring your set to life.

Can I bring my own furniture?
YES! Just let us know in advance so we can check it’ll fit in the lift!

Are props or styling items included?
YES! Any studio props, furniture pieces or styling items (example: lounges, rugs, books, flowers etc) are all included in your booking.

Can I bring my own props or sets?
YES! For large sets or oversized props, please let us know in advance.

SPACE & LAYOUT

Is there natural light?
YES! Throughout the main area of the studio, there are skylight panels expanding across the ceiling entirely.

What time of day is the lighting best?
8am - 4pm! Throughout all daytime bookings, daylight will be present. However, towards late afternoon (after 4-5pm) it does get darker.

Are there blackout curtains?
Not at this stage! Although the windows in the bedroom set can be blacked out. Notice is required if you need this done.

What lighting options does the studio have?
A Neewer LED light is included in your booking. We also have a Neewer spotlight & softbox which can be added to your booking!

Can I bring my own lighting?
YES! There are various powerpoints, extension cords & boards throughout the studio. We also have lift and stair access to assist you.

I need darkness. Can I book the studio at night?
YES! The studio is available to hire at any time of day/ night. We are a 24/7 space.

Amenities

❋ Is there air conditioning?

YES! Both heating and cooling functions.

❋ Is there WIFI?

YES! Let a team member know if you require the login info.

❋ Is there a kitchen area?

YES! Outside the studio, there is a kitchen area with a fridge, kettle, microwave and seating. Noting that it is a shared space, so there may be others using the area also.

❋ Is there change rooms?

YES! Within the studio, there is a private change room/beauty room. The room itself contains a vanity, mirror, 2 clothing rails, a makeup chair and a clothing steamer.

❋ Is there bathrooms?

YES! Located outside the studio, the building offers multiple seperate mens, women’s and disabled bathrooms.

❋ Is there parking?

YES! There are two spots available. Visit our arrival instructions page before your booking for directions.

Is there parking nearby?
We have 2 onsite car spaces. There is also street parking available around the surrounding streets.

Is the studio close to public transport?
YES! We are less than 2 minutes away from Waterloo Metro, and an 8-minute walk from Redfern Train Station. There are also bus stops on Botany Road and the surrounding streets.

Is the studio ground floor or upstairs?
We are on level 3! Which is the top level within a shared office building.

Is there a lift?
YES! The lift passes through all levels including ground, car park and studio level.

What’s the bump-in / bump-out process?
Bump in & bump outs must be done within your booking to avoid any overlap with bookings before or after your shoot. Please ensure you allow enough time to set up & pack away any equipment, products etc within your booked time.

Is there staff onsite or is the studio self-accessed?
There is typically staff on-site during your booking. However, you will be notified if your booking is self-accessed!

Can the studio be used for events or pop-ups?
YES! Please contact us for all events and activations.

Is the studio suitable for audio/ video production?
YES! However, we are in a shared building. You are welcome to message us and arrange a viewing, or we can send you a video.

How many people can the space hold?
40-50 people comfortably.

Can we serve food or arrange catering?
YES! There ARE ADDITIONAL tableS and bins for any rubbish. Please ensure no food/ drinks are consumed on the furniture.

Can music be played?
YES! We have a UE boom speaker on-site. However, you are welcome to bring your own speaker. Please be mindful of our neighbours, and the music is not too loud.

Are pets allowed?
YES! We are a pet-friendly studio.
